This is an American slasher film made in 2018.It is the 11th instalment of the film series and a direct sequel to the 1978 film. It is about 40 years after the massacre in Haddonfield. A 6 year old brutally murders his 17 year old sister and was sentenced and locked away for 15 years. Then on 30th October 1978 whilst being transferred he steals a car and escapes the Grove. He then goes back to his home town and looks for his next victims.

It was released on 17th October 2017, directed by David Gordon Green. It stared Jamie Lee Curtis, Nick Castle, Judy Greer, Andi Matichak, Will Patton, James Jude Courtney and Miles Robbins.
